Question:
I am waiting on the delivery of my off set convert a ball adaptor. My question is what is the easiest way to install the bolts in the pin box? Is it best to take the pin box off the fifth wheel to drill the holes and install the bolts. I have a 2003 f350 crew cab with a 6.5 foot bed the B and W ball is centered over the back axel just 37 inches from the back of the cab. will this product give me a decent turn radius? Not sure how to bolt this together I know since it is an off set I must use the bolts. Your advise is appreciated!!!

The easiest way to install the bolts will probably be to have someone else help hold it in place while you mark for drilling and mount the adapter. Taking the pin box off the fifth wheel will just make unnecessary work for you. I've attached an installation video to a similar product, the Convert-A-Ball # CAB-C5G, which is essentially the same as your adapter but without the offset, which should give you an idea of the install process.
The adapter will likely give you about 10 degrees additional turning clearance due to the offset, but the adapter is not designed to allow a short-bed truck to make a 90-degree turn. If you are using a B&W Gooseneck hitch, your only option for additional clearance is to use a B&W Companion sliding hitch like # BWRVK3400 instead of the Convert-A-Ball adapter.
