Question:
Hello I have recently developed a problem with trying to release the hitch when unhooking from truck. I can no longer simply remove the pin and pull the handle to open the hitch. It now requires someone in the truck lightly rocking the vehicle while I pull on the handle, in addition to that the jaw doesnt open all the way unless i yank it real hard and hold why someone pulls the truck away. Any idea on how to remedy this? Thanks

Sounds like your M5 hitch # RP30921 needs to have the jaw mechanism lubricated.
I attached a picture that shows where either hitch needs to be lubricated with lithium grease like part # L11354. We recommend the pin get lubricated every time it touches other metal
