High Capacity Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2011 Ford F-150

Question:
Hello I have a 2011 F150 8 cyl, 5.0 liter engine. The factory installed trailer hitch is inadequate for my needs and I need to upgrade it to a Class IV hitch. I read somewhere F150 forum that the factory installed hitch forms part of the bumper, and to replace it with a non-OEM Class IV hitch I need to add a reinforcement bar to the bumper prior to adding the Class IV hitch. I visited my Ford dealer and they could not answer the question. Can you confirm if this is the case? If so, do you sell the part? Thank you.

We have one trailer hitch that fits your 2011 Ford F-150 with a factory hitch and it happens to have rather high towing capacity of 8,000 lb trailer weight and 800 lbs tongue weight without weight distribution and 15,000 lb total trailer weight and 1,500 lb tongue weight with weight distribution. For that you'd want the Torklift part # TLF1005H.
I attached a help article on weight distribution system for you to check out as well too.
