Will the Air Lift Airbags Fit a 2016 Chevy Silverado 3500 with Husky 5th Wheel Brackets
Published 04/23/2018 >
Question:
I must have fat fingered the model number of my bed rail brackets. The correct model number is HT31852 not HT31853. That being said, will the U-bolts still fit?

As you can see in the attached photo, the u-bolts used to attach the Air Lift Air Helper Springs part # AL88338 to the frame of your 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 should clear the brackets on the Husky Custom Base Rails and Installation Kit part # HT31853-686. However, if they for some reason to do not clear the frame brackets on the 5th wheel install kit then Air Lift includes additional hardware and instructions to attach the brackets for the airbags directly to the underside of the frame rail which eliminates the need for u-bolts.
