Question:
I have a 2017 Ram 1500 Big Horn with heated power mirrors that fold in by pushing a button. Im looking at two add on mirrors - KS80710 and LVT-3100C. Will either or both of these work with the OEM power folding mirrors? Thanks

Expert Reply:
The K-Source Snap & Zap Custom Towing Mirrors - Snap On # KS80710 and the Longview Custom Towing Mirrors - Slip On # LVT-3100C will both work with your 2017 Ram 1500. They will not impact the original functions of the mirrors on your truck, so you will still have the heated mirror and the power folding feature. The minimal weight of the towing mirror extension weighing just under 1.5 lbs on each side will not change your power functions as these towing mirrors don't change the wiring or the housing of your current factory mirrors.
The snap on versus the slip on are the biggest difference between these options other than the appearance.
