Question:

What is the platform thickness where the ball is installed? I’m looking for 3/4” thick platform for my weigh safe tongue weight scale ball to mount on. I need an adjustable ball mount for my weigh safe WSUN-1 ball with built in scale. It requires a 3/4” platform and I need it to be rated for 10,000 gtw with up to 1500lb tongue weight. I will need it to at least 6”. Any help is appreciated since the ball mounts do not list their platform thickness on your website.

I went out to our warehouse to measure the Ball Mount Adapter for Convert-A-Ball Cushioned Weight Distribution Shank # BA-1 for you. The platform measured 11/16th inches which is the 3/4 inch platform they are referring to.

I recommend the # BA-1 for your Weigh Safe 2" and 2-5/16" Hitch Ball w/Built-In Scale # WSUN-1. These two parts will work very well together.

That platform is designed to work with the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned Weight Distribution Shank for 2" Hitches # AMAC1, but will work with other shanks like the Curt # C17100 and the pin/clips # CABPN-2.
