Weight Capacity of the Convert-A-Ball Adapter Part Number BA-1

Question:
Are you sure of the weight limits of the BA-1, I show other websites with the specs of 2, 000lb tongue weight and 10,000lb limits as opposed to 2,000lb tongue and 5,000lb. I know the weight limits will of course depend on the shank and ball also. I have a shank and ball already and need something that could at least handle 600lb tongue and 6,000lb weight carrying.

Expert Reply:
I contacted our representative at Convert-A-Ball and the weight capacity of the ball mount adapter # BA-1 is 10,000 pounds and tongue weight capacity is 2,000 pounds. It bolts right onto your weigh distribution shank such as the Convert-A-Ball # AMAC1.
The adapter # BA-1 can fit other weight distribution shanks with 3/4 inch shank diameter holes and holes 1-1/4 inches apart on center.
I added a short video review for you too.
