Question:
I have a 2006 forest river cardinal. I want to upgrade the landing gear to the Bulldog electric 5th wheel landing gear set.-36inch travel-10,000 lbs. Will I be able to use my old mount c brackets? Will it run on one battery, or do I need to add a 2nd one?

The Electric 5th Wheel Landing Gear Set - 36" Travel # RP500708 will work on your 2006 Forest River Cardinal and will not require a separate battery. These upgraded landing gear have the same mounting locations as most systems, so you should be able to reuse your old C-brackets. I've attached a video as well as the installation details to assist. You will just want to note the brackets are 17-1/2 inches apart to fit the weld stops.
