What is the difference between the A4000948 and the A4001223. Will they work on a 2014 Silverado with a backflip hard cover?

There are two main differences between the Adarac Pro Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack part # A4000948 and the Adarac Aluminum Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack part # A4001223. This being the shape of the uprights and the dimensions of the crossbars. The crossbars included with the Aluminum Series are 66" long and the crossbars included with the Pro Series are 72" long. The other major difference between the two racks is that the Pro Series has vertical uprights that will allow for greater visibility out of the rear window and a greater compatibility with folding tonneau covers. The Aluminum Series has angle uprights which will limit the visibility out of the rear window in addition to limiting the amount of compatible tonneau covers.

If you already have a BAKFlip Hard Tonneau Cover on your 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, then you will want to use the Adarac Pro Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack as the Adarac Aluminum Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack will not work for you due to the angled uprights interfering with the panels on the tonneau cover while being opened.
