My water filter measures 2 7/8 in across the cap and is 9 1/2 in. long. Do you have one.?

We do not have the water filter with the exact measurements you gave. You may consider replacing your filter with the Camco Replacement KDF/Carbon Filter Cartridge for RV and Marine Premium Water Filter # CAM40621 which works with the very common Camco RV and Marine Premium Water Filter w/ Replaceable Cartridge and Hose Extension # CAM40631. This filter is close to the same size but is slightly narrower at 2.6 inches at the caps and slightly longer at 9-3/4 inches.
