Question:

i have a mazda sedan 2018 and would like to have a hitch for it but im just not sure what to order i dont want to order the wrong one and send it back we will be using it for a small light trailer to haul 8 or 9 bails of hay and our bicycles when we attach the bike rack to it looked at some photos on your web sit and see mazdos but the exhaust pips are way different will i have to them im sending 2 photos i hop they can help you help me in what i should buy and what to expect to install it thank you very munch

For your 2018 Mazda 3 sedan Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 24912 will fit and is the hitch I recommend. The two pictures you have included are such different angles that the differences could be explained by the angles. I have included a link to the installation instructions so you can see how the hitch installs.

The recommended ball mount for this hitch is # 3593. For a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19256 and for a 2 inch ball use # 19258. And for trailer wiring you can use Tekonsha harness # 118405 to add a 4-Way flat connector to the rear of the vehicle. Please note that the vehicle owner's manual may state not to tow with the vehicle. But if it is the only vehicle you have and you want to tow there isn't any other option. If you do have another vehicle you could tow with let me know what it is and I can recommend a hitch, wiring, and ball mount/balls.

Since this and all the hitches for your Mazda 3 are Class I rated that means that the bike rack you use also must be rated for use in a Class I hitch. It also means that you are limited to 2 bikes maximum on a Class I hitch.

For a compatible bike rack I like the Curt # C18085. This bike rack is compatible with many bike styles since it holds the bikes at the wheels. And this rack is easy to handle. I have linked a video review for you.
