Will the 8 inch rise clear the spare tire, does it go past tire before the rise. I only have 4inch from top of hitch to bottom of tire and need at least 10inch from center of hitch pinhole before the rise. Sorry for all the questions over the last few days..

The GearDeck 17 Enclosed Cargo Carrier # H00604 will fit a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and clear the spare. This carrier has 14 inches from the center of it's hitch pin hole to the nearest part of the carrier which should be an inch or two more than needed to clear a Wrangler spare. The platform of the rack has a rise of 6 inches though so you'd need your spare to sit up higher than that from the top of the hitch opening.
Most Wranglers need either 12 or 13 inches of clearance so 14 would be fine unless you have a really wide aftermarket spare tire installed.
