    Hi Mary, There's two versions of the Inno Quick Base; one that can come with crossbar mounting feet to mount on a roof rack or truck bed rack with part # IN82RR, and another version with part numbers # IN54MR and # IN94MR that comes with a shank to mount into the trailer hitch of a vehicle. The cargo boxes can be swapped back and forth between the bases but you would have to purchase two separate bases.     Hey Gary! To find out if the 39x25 Inno Quick Base Cargo Carrier # IN92RR will fit your 2024 Tesla Model Y you will have to measure. The carrier requires at least 4-1/2" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the back of the vehicle/bumper for clearance. You also need 1-1/2" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the opening on the receiver and 2" around the hitch pin hole for the knob as seen in the attached picture.
