I have a 2014 toyota tacoma access cab with tow package pre wired. I found the plug, up behind the parking break. But how do you plug in the special cable i got extra. Theirs no slack in the plug i can hardly reach it. How do i get it pluged in?? Thanks

I attached an install video below that shows the install harness part # 3040-P used to install a Prodigy P2 part # 90885 in a 2012 Toyota Tacoma that will be the exact process as your 2014 model.
In the video we installed the controller on the left side of the steering wheel to help not need a lot of extra slack. Let me know if you need more help!
