Lost my keys cant open skybox Which key should I order or could a dealer help me out?

If you remember your key number, then you can simply order the key. The code will be Y8772-AXXX and you will replace those X's with your key number. So if your key was 146, you would use # Y8772-A146. If you don't remember your key number, you can drill out your lock and use the Yakima Same Key System (SKS) Lock Cores (QTY 2) # Y07202.

A final option is to replace the entire unit with the Replacement SuperLatch Handle Assemblies for Yakima SkyBox Rooftop Cargo Boxes - Qty 2 # Y8880348. You will need to drill out your lock for this application as well.

The control key # Y8007835 can only be used if the core is unlocked.

@JimS The Yakima key numbers are located on the key as well as the side of the tumbler/core. If you don't know your key number, then you can remove an unlocked core with the Control Key # Y8007835 before ordering a new key (or keys). Otherwise, the only other way is to drill out the core and remove it to find the number.
