Hello - will this Freedom rack fit 2.8 and 3.0 tires sizes?

Yes! The Saris Freedom 2 Bike Platform Rack # SA4412B accepts bike tires up to 3 inches wide. There is also a fat bike version, # SA4412B-FB, which accepts bike tires up to 5 inches wide. I have linked a video review of the regular Freedom version for you.
