Recommended 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Setup for a 2014 Ford F-350 without Factory Prep Package

Question:

Just picked up this 2014 F350 Crew Cab and need to add a 5th wheel hitch. The truck does not have the factory puck prep package. Id like to keep the bed clean, so Im looking for something that has underbed rails. Im looking at the Reese Underbed rail kit, part number RP30126 and the Demco sliding hitch, part number DM8550024. Does this combination work together? I see that the rail kit does not have the gooseneck puck like the factory kit FORD BC3Z-5F057-A. Is that an add on option? Thanks PS- bought several items from you guys and love the service.

The Reese Under-Bed Rail and Installation Kit # RP30126 that you referenced is compatible with the Demco Hijacker Autoslide # DM8550024 that you are interested in. I confirmed this with my contact at Reese. This will be a great setup to use for the short bed on your 2014 Ford F-350.

The great thing about the setup that you are looking at is that you can add the Reese Elite Series Under-Bed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Head Kit # RP30138 so that you can tow a gooseneck hitch as well!

If you don't already have a 7-Way in the back of your 2014 Ford F-350 then I also recommend installing the 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Plug # 50-97-410 as it will make connecting and disconnecting your 5th wheel/gooseneck trailer much easier.
