According to the owner's manual for your 2004 GMC Sierra, tire chains cannot be used on 265/75-16 tires due to clearance issues between the chains and vehicle components. However, we understand certain states and conditions require them by law therefore the choice on whether or not to use tire chains will ultimately be up to you.

With that being said, the Pewag Brenta-C 4X4 Snow Tire Chains part # PWXMR82V will fit 265/75-16 tires and work well in both snow and ice. The diamond shaped pattern of the chains provide maximum tire coverage and do not offer the harsh ride in comparison to ladder style chains. Yes, the Konig Standard Snow Tire Chains part # TH01571267 are also a confirmed fit for your 265/75-16 tires but will require about twice as much clearance as the Pewag Brenta-C chains. The Konig chains are specifically designed for commercial vehicles, RVs and off-road use. They come equipped with gloves, a kneeling mat, and mounting instructions in a hard-sided storage container.
