Recommended Hanger Kit for Single Axle Double Eye Leaf Spring Trailer Suspension
Published 12/01/2017 >
Question:
Do you offer a single axle leaf spring hanger kit for 1-3/4” wide springs? Everything I find is for the 2” springs? Also they are double eye springs. Thanks

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Single-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit for Double-Eye Springs - 1-1/2" Front, 1-1/4" Rear # APS2 will work well for your 1-3/4 inch wide leaf springs. Double eye springs are the style have both the bolt in the front and rear and are more common than slipper style springs that only have a bolt on the front end.
Without knowing your axle capacity, I have linked the page to all your double eye spring options. All our systems are rated based on axle weight, so for a 2,000 lb axle you'd look at 2,000 lb springs and in the description you will see each spring has a load capacity of 1,000 lbs, so one on each side will give you your 2,000 lb capacity. I've also attached an article to assist with your single axle suspension.
