How To Determine If Timbren Trailer Suspension Enhancement # TTRA1702 Will Fit Single Axle Trailer
Published 09/22/2022 >
Question:
I have a pizza oven trailer that has a lot of bounce it. The dome on my first oven collapsed due the bouncing. Can I put the ttra1702 on the side of the axle to help reduce the bouncing? It’s about 3.6 inches clearance from top to the leaf spring on each side of the axle.

The Timbren Trailer Suspension Enhancement System # TTRA1702 is 2-3/4" tall with no load on the spring. This particular system is designed to mount to the frame with the included bracket(see image) and when the suspension compresses the axle will push into the spring. You will need to measure the distance from the top of the axle to the frame to determine if this is an option for your trailer. It is okay to have the spring touching the axle or being compressed up to roughly 1/2". If your axle is much closer or further please let me know and I can suggest another option.
