If your truck has a combined lighting system where the stop signal is run on the same wires as the left and right turn signals then you can simply use the Vehicle to Vehicle Tail Light Converter # C56196. This converter separates the stop signal from the turn signals and will allow you to wire your 3rd brake light so that it will not blink when your turn signal is activated.
To install it you will need to connect either the green or yellow wire to the appropriate turn/stop signal and connect the white ground wire to a clean, solid ground. You will then just need to tie off the yellow and green wires on the output end and run wire from the red wire to your 3rd brake light. You can use 16 Gauge Wire # 16-1-1, some Butt Connectors # DW05744-5, and some Quick Splices # SWC501746-1 to accomplish this.
