Would this d ring be acceptable for installation on 1/2plywood decking?

The Brophy D-Ring Tie Down Anchor w Backing Plate - Bolt-On - 1/2" Wide - Recessed - 1,600 lbs # RR5K will work well on 1/2 inch plywood decking as long as you use the backing plate. The recessed anchor will actually sit below your plywood, but the backing plate will help you get the support you need to make it usable. I did confirm this fit with the manufacturer.
