Very good quality, easily installed
Heck for stout. Work great for supporting my suspended patio on my toy hauler. Thanks!
I put them on the front corners of my flatbed, I like that they can be removed if needed
very well built and sturdy!
These will hold a tank !!!Overkill for tying down the Harley, but it’s worth it !
I've ordered a couple of things from etrailer. Each order arrived much faster than anticipated. Excellent customer service!
Very well made and sturdy
Exactly what I ordered in a timely fashion and have performed extraordinary....thnx ETrailer
Heavy duty well-built tiedown anchor. Better than I had expected. Great service. Will be using etrailers again.
A very versatile tie down point, exactly what I was looking for. This tie down has an excellent coating that should last many years to come. I have used etrailer for many, many purchases over the last few years and am never disappointed. Their selection and customer service is top notch. I only wish it came with hardware, but I'll live!
Great tie down anchors. Attached them to the floor of my trailer and they work great!
You have delivery issues. Packages are either delayed or damaged. Somebody needs to be accountable.
Watched video. shows carriage bolts so items don't catch and yet the plate comes with round bolts do i bought 16 carriage bolts to use for this and have no use for them. I wish if hardware doesn't come included you all would update items with size hardware. Brophy site shows carriage bolts when i went there to see what size bolts i needed. Your photo here on this review shows round holes, the video shows and names carriage bolts and brophy's site shows carriage bolts.

Thank you for your review. The D-Ring does not come with hardware. The mounting holes are 38 holes. You can use bolts or wood screws depending on what you are installing this on.
I bought two BP1D mounting plates for the Brophy tie-down anchors. My 6’ x 10’ utility trailer will be used to haul a motorcycle or lawn tractor and I need to place rear tie-downs in different locations to secure the rear. The setup for the motorcycle is especially tricky and are located towards the front of the trailer. A second location for other equipment are set in the back. These Brophy anchors are ideal as the mounting plates are under the trailer deck. The heavy duty eyelets that come with DR1S (purchased separately) are out of the way and threaded into the mounting plate when ready to strap equipment in place. I really am happy with the cost effective way to have multiple tie-down locations
All the pieces have good welds and paint. It may be a small amount of warpage from heating the nuts or just a little mar on the threads of the bolts but you cannot screw any of the four in more than an inch before it requires a pipe wrench. I had pictured that you would be able to just spin them in and out by hand. I feel like after they've been used a few times this will probably resolve. I think these are going to be so much better than the recessed D-rings in my old trailer. I swear those things were made to gather every spec of dirt in the trailer and put it in those cups for you to clean out. Also the rings on these are larger than traditional D-rings so if you needed to run a strap through them instead of hook to them this could be done easily. I only purchased four but probably will purchase a couple more later for mid mount after seeing these.
Well-built and completely satisfied with how well they work from a repeat customer.
I like the tie-downs. I have a trailer with 2x8 boards covered by a sheet of plywood. If the length of the threaded rod were 1/2 inch longer that would be better. Also, why do you call it 1/2 diameter when the threaded rod is 5/8-11?

Glad you like the # DR1S Robert and we appreciate the feedback. The 1/2" is the diameter of the D ring.
