To install a brake controller on your 2017 Ford F750 you will need to hardwire it as there are no factory plugs under the dash. There will be some wires located under your dash that are located on the driver side. You will simply need to use a Circuit Tester # PTW2993 to test them although sometimes manufacturers will label the wiring.
I recommend installing the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 as it is very easy to install and features a user-friendly LCD screen that doesn't use codes like other brake controllers do. To install it you will need to connect the following wires from the included pigtail to the following functions:
Black - 12V Power
Blue - Brake Controller Pin on 7-Way
White - Ground
Red - COLD Side of the Stop Light Switch (only gets hot when brake pedal is pressed
I have attached a review video for you to check out.
