Trailer Tire Size 185/80-13 with Load Range D and Speed Rating Over 65 MPH

Question:

Is there a radial trailer tire in size 185/80/13 that is rated for speeds above 65mph and at least a load range D? It is going on a dual axle travel trailer with a GVWR of 6500lbs.

Expert Reply:

We do have a 185/80-13 Load Range D tire rated up to 81 mph however, it's a bias ply tire. It's part # AM1ST79 and the only tire we carry in that size.

It's weight capacity is 1,710 pounds at 65 psi.
