Using Trailair Replacement King Pin with Andersen Ultimate Connection

Question:

I have a Andersons Hitches 3220 Ultimate 5th wheel connection 2. My question is can the Trail Air Roto Flex pin box lippert 1621 be used with the hitch. On Andersons hitches website it say we recommend the rotoflex lockout kit 3247 designed to keep the rubber pad from shifting over time. I was reading some of the QandA on the rotoflex on etrailer website and it says not recommended to be used with Anderson 5th wheel connection or any goose neck adapter. The ultimate 5th wheel connection is just like a 5th wheel hitch if Im correct.

I checked with Andersen and they do state that their Ultimate 5th Wheel Connection can be used with the Trailair Rota-Flex 5th Wheel Pin Box like the part # LC328330 that you mentioned. As you referenced, you will just want to use the Rota-Flex Lockout Kit to prevent the rubber pad from shifting over time. We do not currently have this part available.

The Trailair Rota-Flex Pin Box is a great pin box replacement that features a pivoting head and a built-in rubber compound that will work to reduce chucking and absorb road shock. This will result in a much smoother ride and less wear and tear on the trailer itself.

If you have a Lippert 1621 pin box on your trailer, this will work perfectly as a replacement. I have also attached a short video demonstration on this product that you can check out.
