Does 2024 Chevy Silverado 3500 with OEM Pucks Have to Use Slider Hitch

I have a 2024 Chevy Silverado, Standard bed with the Puck system installed. Do I need a Slider Hitch for towing the fifth wheel trailer?

Hey Marshall, so normally with short bed trucks it used to be that you always had to use a slider hitch like the B and W Companion slider part # BWRVK3775 that fits your 2024 Chevy SIlverado 3500 with the OEM pucks but in recent years fifth wheel campers are being made with narrower noses and pivoting pin boxes to allow for short bed clearance without a slider hitch.
So if your camper has a tapered in nose and/or a pivoting pin box like a Sidewinder or Reese Revolution you could instead use a fixed Companion # BWRVK3710.
