Where is Brake Controller Install Port on 2016 Ram 1500
Question:
I ordered part number 3024p harness and cant find the plug to plug it in I found a little one that resembles the one pictured but is too small to plug in to 3024 p. The vehicle is a 2016 Dodge ram 1500 Lonestar edition. I have the 7 and 4 pin plugs on rear bumper so I am assuming I have the plug for trailer brakes

Your truck does have the connector needed to plug in the part # 3024-P that you mentioned. When we installed this harness in a 2016 Ram 1500 just like yours we found the connector dangling under the dash to the right of the steering wheel like in the picture I attached. You can also fast forward to the 3:25 portion of the install video I attached to see this as well.
The brake controller installed in this video is the P3 part # 90195 which is our best option.
