Can a 14 x 6 Trailer Wheel be Used in Place of a 14 x 5-1/2 Wheel with ST215/75-15

Question:
My rim is 14 x 5.5j with the ST 215 /75D15 tire. Your rim is 14 X 6, will this fit on my trailer.

Even with a wheel that is 1/2 inch wider the section width of the tire will still be the same so there won't be any fit issues. But you mentioned that you have 14 x 5-1/2 wheels now so the product you came from when the question was asked, # AM3S560, is a 15 inch tire and wheel so that would not be a good match if the rest of the tires are 14 inch and your are replacing just one.
If you want to go to the ST215/75-15 size then I would need to know the original tire size on the sidewall of the tires to determine how much larger the new tires will be compared to the old ones.
