Question:

Hi I bought a Reese 16 K dual pivoting sliding fifth wheel hitch and I need some rails for it. I have a 200 hi I bought a Reese 16 K duel pivoting sliding fifth wheel hitch and I need some rails for it. I have a 2012 Dodge mega cab diesel 3500 single wheel base.just wondering if theres a universal rail kit you could suggest that would work for that hitch I would also require the mounting hardware . Thanks so much

We have both custom and semi-custom 5th wheel installation kits for your 2012 Ram 3500 Mega cab diesel with 6-foot bed. All will accept any brand of industry-standard 5th wheel hitch like your Reese 16K slider.

For the easiest installation use Curt custom kit # C16420-204 which will reduce the drilling needed, or for a lower-price use semi-custom kit # RP30035-023. This comes from Pro Series, sister brand to Reese, and it will work fine for your hitch. Instructions are linked for you.

For a 5th wheel wiring harness you can use part # 50-97-410. For pins to mount the hitch use kit # C16902. If you like you can replace one pin with a lock such as # TR63254 which will secure the hitch to the rails.
