Will Titan Disc Brake Kit # T4843300 Work for Saltwater Use
Published 07/14/2017 >
Question:
I would like to convert my tandem axle boat trailer drum surge brakes to disc. It only has brakes on the front axle. I was looking at the kit T4843300. How will this hold up to regular salt water use?

Expert Reply:
The Titan surge brake actuator part # T4843300 that you referenced would work well for you. It's a disc brake actuator and it's zinc coated as well which means it will fight saltwater corrosion.
