Question:
Is it possible to use a gooseneck hitch extender with an offset ball adapter for a 5th wheel camper? Currently own a 2012 ram crew cab with a short box 5.7 ft. It also has a ram box if that makes a difference. The camper has a 12in kingpin extender. Any help would be appreciated

It sounds to me like you have a 5th wheel to gooseneck adapter like the Ranch Hitch Universal 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Coupler Adapter part # AM3100 already installed on your 5th wheel trailer. To answer your question, yes, a 5th wheel to gooseneck adapter is compatible with an offset gooseneck hitch ball. It is important to not that an offset gooseneck adapter, such as part # AM3139, should not be used with an offset gooseneck ball.
However, as gooseneck hitch balls are specific to the gooseneck hitch, I would need to know what brand of hitch you have in order to offer a recommendation. If you can provide me with this information then I would be glad to help.
For a B&W gooseneck hitch, I recommend using the 4" Offset Ball for B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitches part # BWGNXA4085, the 5" Offset Ball for Hide-A-Goose Gooseneck Trailer Hitches part # 19308 for Draw-Tite gooseneck hitches, and the Curt 4" Offset Ball for Double-Lock Gooseneck Hitch part # C602 for Curt gooseneck hitches.
