Will Dexter DX7.5 Actuator Fit in Place of a Tie Down Model 70E Actuator
Updated 07/13/2017 | Published 07/12/2017 >
Question:
Currently a TieDown Model 70E is on my boat trailer. This actuator needs to be replaced and I am wanting to replace it with a Titan Item # T47154207K. Will this work as a direct replacement or will I need to drill new mounting holes? Thank You

Helpful Expert Reply:
If your trailer tongue is 3 inches wide and the mounting holes for your existing Tie Down actuator are 3 inches apart on center then Dexter Zinc-Plated Brake Actuator, Item # 099-175-20 (replacement for Titan 60) will fit. I have linked a video review of this actuator for you.
