Installing Lippert Ground Control Leveling System On 2004 Thor Toyhauler

Question:
Looking at adding the automatic leveling system but the instructions say to mount the rear jacks 1 foot behind the wheels. I have a step installed there for the back door that will not allow the jack to be installed elsewhere? 2004 Thor Toyhauler

On your 2004 Thor Toyhauler, my tech contact at Lippert Components said the Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System w/ Touchpad and Remote - 20,000 lbs # LC358590 can have the rear supports mounted in another location but within parameters.
It is required that the front jacks and the rear jacks be no farther than 20 feet apart. So, from the center of the front mounted jacks to the center of the rear mounted jacks, you must be within that maximum distance. He confirmed that as long as your 2004 Thor Toyhauler can handle that 20 foot max separation, you can mount those rear jacks wherever they will fit.
