How Much Room on RV Frame Does Lippert Ground Control Middle and Rear Jacks Take Up

Question:

Now that I find there is not enough room between the steps and tire, can these Jacks be rotated 90 deg from there designed mounting, I understand it would require a custom fabricated mounting plate off the frame.

The middle and rear jack mounting brackets of the Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System w Touchpad and Remote - 6-Point Set # LC675817 that you referenced are a total of 6 inches in width. That's how much free room you'd need on your RV's frame.

The jack motors on the rear and middle jacks of this kit would still operate fine if they were rotated 90 degrees relative to their mounting brackets. That said we don't have a specific way we can recommend you custom mount them in a different orientation.

Hi, Can I use a Ground Contol 3.0 on a 6" frame, its for a reflection 230RL? Can I cut the bracket and re-drill to fit in the 6" frame? Thanks

I reached out to Lippert regarding your question and they said as long as you used the 6 prescribed bolts to attach the lift to the mounting brackets, that you should be ok on a 6 inch frame. I would look to see if you have the existing mounting brackets on your frame. I have attached the installation and user guide. Depending on the length of your trailer you may only need a 4 point system. I have attached a proeduc link for you to consider.
