Are These Seals Rated for Use on Boat or Marine Axles and Hubs

Question:

Are there different seals for water use trailers boats, vs non water use trailers? I want to assure that my boat trailer hub is sealed the best it can be when I put it in and out of the lakes and rivers.... I bought your hub kit and the seal fits great, but I was just wondering if there are different seals for marine use, to assure better watertight seal? No problems with my hub so far... but i am wondering about if there is a marine type seal that is supposed to be used for better water tight seal? or does it really matter? Thoughts?

The seals that are included in the Trailer Hub Assembly for 2,500 lbs Axles # DX22XR, has the double lip design. Double lip grease seals are recommended for use on marine applications. The double lip design will keep grease in the hub and water out.

Single lip seals are usually used on land applications and can allow water to pass the seal if submerged.
