The Bearing Buddy Bearing Protectors - Model 1980A-SS w/ Auto Check - Stainless Steel (Pair) # BB1980A-SS are designed for that blue seal to expand and eventually have visible grease around that edge. I've attached a video that shows this installation and grease application for you. The grease needing to be applied almost every trip is not normal, so I recommend the Spindle Grease Seal Set # BB60002 to contain your grease with a tight seal intended for this application.

Based on the spindle measurements you will want the following combinations: Bearing Buddy Bearing Protectors - Model 1980A-SS w/ Auto Check - Stainless # BB1980A-SS along with Bearings # L44649. The part that we cannot fit is the seal. You need a seal with a 1.22 inch inner diameter. That is not a common seal. The closest we get is the 1.249 inch inner diameter of the double lip # 34823. This seal could leak or may be okay. The pressure of the spring loaded bearing buddy may cause it to fail sooner than a standard grease cap. This seal has an outer diameter of 1.983, so this is really a close fit, but I can't promise it won't still have issue and you may want to seek a smaller seal.
