If you would like to use a locking hitch pin with your (discontinued) Thule Vertex 4 Bike Rack TH9029XT, the only option available is the Thule Snug Tite Hitch Lock and Anti-Rattle Device # THSTL2. I contacted Thule to see if the Curt Hitch Lock # C23517 will fit and my contact said that the hitch pin hole was specially made to fit with the Snug Tite option. This is a very common situation; many bike rack companies use specific locks which prevent people from using generic products.
