Question:
I have a 2014 Kia Sorento LX that I want to add a class 3 2inch hitch and wiring kit to. I want to be certain which one to get. The website narrowed it down to two different ones. Can you confirm which hitches will fit this car?

The two Class III trailer hitch receivers that fit your 2014 Kia Sorento LX are the Curt # C13152 and the Draw-Tite # 75772. Both have a similar design and look once installed. The Curt has a higher weight capacity but the Draw-Tite is still rated well above what your Sorento can tow so that shouldn't be a deciding factor for you.
If I had to choose one I'd go with the Curt just because of the amount of positive reviews we've received. The Draw-Tite's reviews are just as positive but there aren't near as many of them.
The wiring harness I recommend is the Tekonsha # 118583. This provides a 4-way trailer connector on the rear of your Sorento. To install the harness you'll need to remove the Kia's tail lights and plug it in in-line with the tail lights' wiring. Then you'll need to run a hot lead wire to the positive side of the battery and insert the fuse. All of the wiring and the fuse is included.
You'll also need a ball mount and hitch ball. I've attached link of our selection of ball mounts for a 2 inch hitch receiver as well as an article to help you determine the correct rise or drop you may need. Once you choose a ball mount you can then choose a hitch ball to fit it.
One way to make choosing a ball mount easier is to go with an adjustable ball mount like the B&W Tow & Stow # BWTS10038B. It features the ability to be flipped under the hitch when not using it and will provide up to 5-1/2 inches of rise or 5 inches of drop.
For a pin and clip to fit you can use # PC3 or if you'd like to have a locking pin you can use # BX8858.
I've also included links to some articles on towing that you might find helpful.
