Question:

Thanks again for your help. I could not find GVW on axle or trailer body, the stickers with numbers were un readable, trailer is 30 years old single axle. Can you tell me the front to back measurement on the hub # 8-259-5uci-ez. this is for a 8-12" wheel. Again my old hub is 3-3/8" front to back measurement with 5 lugs on 4-1/2" centers.

The Trailer Hub Assembly # 8-258-5UC1 measures 4-1/4 inches from front to back. As long as you have the length on your spindle, you won't have any issue. That measurement is not including the grease cap, it is just the hub from edge to edge. There is 2 inches on either side of the hub face which is 1/4 inch thick.

The Trailer Hub Assembly for 2,200-lb E-Z Lube Axles - 5 on 4-1/2 - 8" - 12" Wheels # 8-259-5UC1-EZ measures 4-1/4 inches front to back as well. This is a standard measurement, so you may have issues finding a replacement for 30 year old axles if you spindles are not long enough for the standard hub depth. The bearings and weight ratings also need to match your axle and spindle.
