Question:
I have a 10k Al-ko oil bath axle with a oil seal number OB27377. I would like to change it from being a oil bath axle to grease, do I need a different seal if Im running grease instead of oil? Thanks.

An oil seal like the Redline # 91030 with an inner diameter of 2.750 inches and an outer diameter of 3.779 inches can be used with a grease hub. As long as this is the correct size and it is compatible with your spindle, it will work just fine.
All you will need to do to convert to grease hubs is remove all the oil, pack the hubs with grease like # L11390 and obtain new grease caps. Just make sure that you clean all of the oil off completely so it does not mix with the grease. I have included a link that will take you to our available selection of grease caps for you to look through. You will simply measure the inside diameter of the hub where the cap will fit to find the compatible size.
