Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this ABS fasteners bar-style tamper-proof door latch with the 36-inch long pipe. And this is for enclosed trailers. Now this cam action bar-style door latch with the pre-installed pipe is ideal for side or small rear doors on utility trailers, vans, and trucks. Now when you do push the latch down, it'll install into a half and then you can lock it into place. Now that half is sold separately.
Again, the overall pipe length on this, we measure from this end to this end is 36-inches. The handle itself is a 14-inch long handle, has a nice black rubber grip on the end, so it keeps your hand from slipping in any wet conditions. And the finish on this latch is a rust and corrosion-resistant, clear coated, zinc coating on it. Now the mounting hardware to install this to your trailer is not included. You would have to supply that.
And again, the length on this bar is 36-inches. You can also get this bar in other lengths. Comes in a 24-inch, 45-inch, and 55-inch length. But that should do it for a look at this ABS fasteners bar-style tamper-proof door latch with the 36-inch long pipe for enclosed trailers.

Weld on handle separated after about 9 months, rendering the part useless
The hinge is welded about 1/4" too short and does not hit the same hole pattern as the old handle. 2-Stars because they are working on trying to resolve the issue, but it's taken a few weeks so far with no resolution yet.
Worked perfect as replacement for my tr ailer.
