The Bike Trailer Conversion Kit, part # TH20100506 is designed for child carriers 2005 and newer. I called my contact at Thule and they do not have the serial numbers of the older versus newer carriers.

They said the way to tell if the kit will work is to look at the carrier where the kit installs. I have attached a photo that shows how the kit is installed. It is a square hole that the arm of the kit slips into. If your carrier does not have the square hole then the # TH20100506 kit will not work for your carrier.
