The Thule T2 Pro XTR 2 Bike Platform Rack - 2" Hitches # TH83JV is designed to hold the bikes by the wheels. It is not recommended to use on bikes with fenders.

For that application I recommend the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE # HLY84FR. This carrier has the capacity to carry bikes up to 80 lbs each. Many of our bike carriers are for bikes up to 35 lbs each and many of the bikes with fenders exceed that weight. This carry uses precision-clamping cushioned hooks to hold the frame of the bike. The wheel holders also secure the bike with straps. This rack installs with out tools and has the security cable lock and hitch lock keyed alike. This rack also has a tilting feature to allow you cargo access with the bikes installed.

For another option, you can use the Swagman Dispatch # S44FR. This carrier has less of the bells and whistles, but is extremely sturdy and RV compatible. It has the wheel cradles and straps as well as ratcheting hooks to secure your bikes. It can carry bikes with fenders up to 45 lbs per bike. This comes with a hitch lock and cable lock combination.

For and extremely nice and versitle bike rack, you can use the Thule EasyFold 2 XT Bike Platform Rack # TH903202. This will give you a clamp lock for the frame of your bike and the wide trays for securing your wheels. This is able to carry bikes up to 65 lbs each. It has a tilt away function for easy cargo loading and unloading with bikes attached. This rack has an integrated hitch lock and cable lock system.
