What is thickness of metal on trailer rail CE26110PG. Any feedback on anyone placing it on a trailer w no flooring?

The CE Smith Motorcycle Rail for Trailers # CE26110PG can be mounted on a trailer with a wooden deck, one with a metal platform or directly onto frame members. I linked for you one of the installation photos sent to us by a customer; this photo shows that in that specific application the rail was mounted across the three frame cross members.
I went to our warehouse to measure this item and the material thickness is 0.09-inches as measured with a precision dial caliper.
