What size drill bits are needed to install this on a 1997 dodge ram 2500 diesel 8ft bed. RP30035 QTY: Reese Universal Base Rails and Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches - 10 Bolt? Thank you.

I check the installation instruction for the Reese rail kit part # RP30035 and the required drill bits you need to provide are 3/16 inch, 17/32 inch and 1 inch.

It sounds like you need pin set #6014 and 2 of pin #6020PIN or 90 degree pin set #RP58240 to install your #RP30051. It also sounds like you will need bolt kit #58296 to attach the head and cross member to the base.
