If you have a fifth wheel, whether it's like this for your camping and stuff, or if you're just a big commercial worker hauling around big stuff and delivering bigger loads, Trimax has got you covered. This is going to lock it up whenever you're leaving it somewhere and storing it. So let's show you exactly how it works. Doesn't matter what kind of fifth wheel that you have, it's going to fit. This is a very, very standard size, and it's super easy to use. All you gotta do is just grab it, and you don't even need the keys to lock it in.
So you just push it up like this. The collar design keeps your hands free of grease. You push that in, and that's it. This is the best way to lock up your fifth wheel. We have a hardened steel, which is epoxy powder-coated so it's not gonna rust away over time.
It has a circular key, which we get two in our kit. It's gonna be very, very tamper-proof. I don't see anybody having this skill to be able to pick this lock. It's just super easy, and I do like how you don't need the keys to lock it up. It's a very compact design.
There's so many different places we can store it on our fifth wheel, but also just the glove box or center console of your vehicle, it's gonna fit. I think this is just the best way to do it. Good keys, good locks, good sturdy material. Nice powder-coated finish. There isn't a whole lot to it, but that's pretty much it for our look at the Trimax 5th Wheel Lock..

Nice and heavy, quick and easy deterrent for my fifth wheel
Product arrived and when I opened the packaging, the lock tumbler fell out of the collar. The pin holding it in fell out of the packaging. The Collar is well made, but not impressed by the security of the locking mechanism. Repaired it with a roll pin, rather than return it. Was hoping it was better made.

After posting my review, e-trailer made good and sent me a replacement. This lock arrived without any issues and is greatly appreciated. It is nice to see a company stand behind its product!
Very solid construction. I liked the video on etrailer website. It helped me to compare with other options and see exactly what it looked like.
Appears to be a great deterrent and visually appealing (keeps me from hitting my head) on the kingpin!
Another Great Purchase. Exactly as Advertised, Works Great, Fast Shipper!
I will be ordering More From Etrailer.
Easy to use, seems secure.
Does the job, not bullet proof by any means but it will definitely slow the crackheads down.
Fast shipping and excellent customer se rvice
Very easy to order. Package came in a timely manner. Lock was exactly what was expected.
I was impressed with updated shipping information until the package was in my hands.
Didn't fit my MorRyde pin box, easily returned, though.
I have been looking for a fifth wheel pin lock that is not cheaply made and easy to defeat. This lock is several pounds of cast iron and impossible to easily defeat. It uses a cylinder lock maling it perfect. As usual, etrailer got it to me in just a few days. I am very satisfied!
This is an awesome lock set up. Very strong easy to use locking assembly with push button and not having to use a key. Harden steel would be very difficult to get through this lock to your hitch pin. I highly recommend this lock. etrailer did a fantastic job of getting this to me in a short amount of time.
Works just like it should
It will make me feel alot better about my trailer being stolen, because if someone tries to hook up ot it they will be working very hard and long to get this lock off.
This king pin lock would not work for me. I have a Demco capture plate for a moryde pin box. The plate interfered with the lock. I have returned it.

Sorry to hear it didn't work for you, Gary. Did the capture plate make it so the lock wouldn't go all the way on? Would definitely like to get that added to this page if it's the case.
Looks good and was easy to install

Still is working well no problem with the locking mechanism at all. It is a good visual deterrent as well.
Love it, secure and easy to use
Easy and fast service with updates along the way.
Works like it's supposed to. Minor sanding of crud buildup on kingpin to make it fit. Other than that no worries.
ETrailer will be my "go to" for all of my needs. They have been nothing but friendly and professional. I would recommend ETrailer to anyone without any hesitation.
Very well built, high quality.
The Trimax King Pin Lock for 5th Wheel Trailers is a quality lock that will protect the trailer from being easily stolen. With this lock installed it is no longer a simple matter of hooking to the trailer and driving off. You need to remember that while it is a great deterrent it will not prevent a theft if someone is determined to steel the trailer.
This looks like a solid lock to secure the king pin when my 5th wheel is stored. Note that the red collar (TMX36RR) is not the same size as the yellow collar (TMX56RR). My 5th wheel has a Curt Helux pin box, and the yellow collar would not fit. etrailer made the return and replacement hassle free.
The lock fit like a glove and feels heavy duty. Great CS from E Trailer. Thank you

Glad we had the right lock to keep your property safe Jim! Looks great =)
Just got it, but first impressions are that it’s strong and great quality. Went right on and fit perfectly. Seems to be better security than most king pin locks out there. Definitely happy I chose the hardened steel model over the aluminum. Time will tell how it holds up over time, but I expect with its heavy powder coating and brass/chrome lock, it should do just fine.

That is great to hear, and it looks clean installed! I agree the steel is definitely a stronger feeling unit and I think it will prove that over time. What kind of trailer are you using this on?

Yikes, so per Trimax, the lock tumbler is casted in the collar and should not be falling out at all. Even if the roll pin falls out, the tumbler should still be intact. It sounds like you got a temporary fix, but just to ease any concerns with the security on this mechanism, we are sending you out a replacement right away. I am sorry for all of this mess.
