Where do Trailer Wire Colors Green, Yellow, Brown and Red Run To

Question:
I have 4 wires coming from trailer green-yellow-brown-red . Coming from truck are white-brown-yellow-green. What goes to what?

Most likely the colors would match with the exception of the red wire on the trailer going to the white wire on the truck. The white wire is the ground circuit so you can trace the RED wire on the TRAILER to see if it attaches to a metal surface on the trailer or to the grounds of all the lights.
