The Curt Trailer Hitch, # C11000, will fit the 2011 model Volkswagen Golf TDI. I have included a link to the installation details and a link to a video showing and example installation for you.
This trailer hitch comes with a ball mount and you can use ball # 19256 (1-7/8 inch diameter) or # 19258 (2 inch diameter). For trailer wiring, you can use Curt PWM Powered Converter, # C59236.
