Flat Tow Set Up For 2007 Mazda MX-5 That Does Not Need A Cross Bar

Question:

I just purchased from you a Roadmaster Ez Base Plate Kit 52728-1. I would like to purchase the Roadmaster Falcon All-Terrain tow bar I would prefer not to use a cross bar. How can I attach the Tow Bar to the Base plate without using the crossbar?

I have a solution for you.

Roadmaster EZ Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # 52728-1.
Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar - Motorhome Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,000 lbs # RM-522.

These two units are not compatible with each other and you will need to get a crossbar style tow bar.
If you are deadset on getting the falcon you can use the Replacement Quick Disconnect Crossbar Assembly for Roadmaster Motorhome Mounted Tow Bars # 910021-00.

Roadmaster StowMaster Tow Bar - Car Mount - 2" Ball - 6,000 lbs # RM-501.

I have attached the warning notes and coupling details with pictures. These can also be found in the owners manual of the Falcon All Terrain.

Just to make sure you have the complete flat tow set up I'll link the other required parts.

Roadmaster EZ Hook Safety Cables - 68" Long - 8,000 lbs - Qty 2 # RM-655-68.
Demco Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System w/ Wireless Coachlink Monitor - Proportional # DM86VR.
Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles - 7-Wire to 6-Wire Straight Cord # RM-152-98146-7.
